Do you love Bollywood thriller movies? There is a crime, a detective or cop comes, observes the situation and solves the case. The book is no less the epitome for the corporate problems to that of Agatha Christie's stories. The way author asks the right questions and resultant melting of seemingly complex corporate problems is fabulous. Certainly a great read for strengthening the understanding of application of TOC thinking process to the practical problems.
Visu, a management consultant by profession with business transformation as his passion, has written this book which consists of 25 short corporate stories. He does not bore you with pages and pages of management fundae rather tries to convey his points in a simple manner. This would be useful for management students and young management professionals.
Visu has written a breezy set of 25 anecdotes from his consulting experiences over more than two decades. The book reminds of Late Night Discussions by Dr. Eliyahu Goldratt. Best way to benefit from this book will be to take up any anecdote that appears close to reality in your company and give a thought of and discuss among your colleagues about implementing the same at your company. It would be refreshing change from routine discussions. Look forward to further sequels
Read your book #VISUism today. Extremely powerful stories. The book personifies Inherent Simplicity. I am sure any student of business will love the book. Initially I felt dry due to extremely short stories. I wished the stories could be bit more elaborated. By the end, I recalled that “Simplicity is core to TOC” and your book is absolutely true to that concept. Magic of asking the right questions. What an idea Sir ji. Will ensure all my team reads this book
Do you love suspense thrillers? There is a crime scene with no clue on culprit, a detective or cop is called in for, he observes the situation and solves the case. Just the common observation around helps uncover the situation. The book #VISUism Corporate Stories part-1 is no less than the epitome for the organisation problems to that of Agatha Christie's stories. The way author asks the right questions (Socratic approach) and resultant melting of seemingly complex corporate problems is fabulous. Examples further demonstrate how "common practice masks the common sense". A great read for strengthening the understanding of application of TOC thinking process to the practical problems. Thanks, Visweswaran Sundararaman Sir for sharing your experience through this crisp book. Awaiting for release of Part-2.
I just finished reading your book #VISUism | part1. The contexts and contents are crisp and to the point just like the solutions themselves. Generously sharing the ‘precious’ and ‘priceless’ experience and knowledge acquired by you through this book is also a learning. I have always aspired your thought process on solutions to the problems since the day i have seen you in action, in person. And now I am greedy for future parts. Great job and thanks for sharing the knowledge Thank you for the book and all the best for your future books as well Visweswaran Sundararaman Awaiting for release of Part-2.
